David Osborne
David is a director in the Tax practice in the Channel Islands, having moved to Jersey from the UK in 2008.
He has an undergraduate degree in Political Economy and a post-graduate degree in International and European Law. He qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2003 and has been a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) since 2005.
He has a broad experience in tax ranging from handling the corporation tax affairs of multi-national groups; structuring the personal tax affairs of high net worth individuals; extensive experience in dealing with Jersey and Guernsey employment tax matters; advising owner managed businesses and considerable experience in property taxation matters in the UK, Jersey and Guernsey.
He has previously worked for two of the ‘Big 4’ accountancy practices including Deloitte and PwC in the North West and PwC in the Channel Islands before joining the firm in 2011.
David has previously been a member of the Jersey branch committee for the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Away from the office David enjoys spending time with his family. When he is not playing sports with his two young sons, he takes the opportunity to play golf, squash, cricket and football and is a coach for the Jersey Learning Disability football team. He is also a keen follower of the Jersey Rugby team’s fortunes.
