Helen Whale
Helen is a consultant in the tax practice. She has a chemistry degree and qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2001.
Helen has experience with a broad range of clients from locally managed companies to multinational companies, trusts and private clients, including expatriate employees. She has a wide range of tax experience, in areas that include tax compliance, corporate reorganisations, individuals moving to and from Jersey, property tax matters and advising clients on the effects of changes in tax law, such as the recent changes to the distribution rules in Jersey.
Helen trained with a “big 4” accountancy practice in London then returned to Jersey where she has worked for two “big 4” accountancy practices, before joining Baker Tilly Channel Islands.
Outside of the office Helen enjoys spending time with her family and also tries to keep reasonably fit by visiting the gym and going for the occasional run.
