André Nel

André, a seasoned professional, joined Baker Tilly Channel Islands in January 2022, bringing a wealth of experience garnered from distinguished roles in Audit at SAPRO and LDP Chartered Accountants in South Africa. 

A proud member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), André's professional journey spans more than 6 years, marked by a consistent commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across diverse industries. His versatility and depth of expertise have been instrumental in establishing him as a trusted professional. 

As a dedicated member of the Assurance and Advisory Team in Jersey, André adeptly manages a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various sectors, including Private Equity/Debt and Property Funds. His proactive approach and industry insight make him an invaluable asset to our team. 

André's academic journey commenced at Stellenbosch University, where he pursued a degree in accounting. Expanding his knowledge, he went on to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Science and a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting at the University of South Africa. 

Away from the office, André enjoys spending time in the outdoors, taking part in any type of sports and traveling.
