Jako du Toit

Jako studied at Stellenbosch University, where he completed a Bachelor of Accounting, followed by an Honours degree in Chartered Accounting and Audit. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. 

Prior to joining Baker Tilly Channel Islands Jako gained valuable experience at EY in Jersey where he worked on a range of clients, with a focus on fund administrators, private equity & listed commodity security issuers. 

As a member of the Assurance and Advisory Team, Jako works with a range of clients, providing tailored services across various sectors such as SaaS providers, listed special purpose acquisition vehicles & financial services (including private equity and investment management).  

Jako has diverse experience with clients reporting under IFRS, IFRS for SME's & UK GAAP. His focus and dedication contribute significantly to the team's efforts in delivering quality outcomes for our clients. 

Outside of work, Jako enjoys spending time with loved ones exploring the outdoors.
