Jana Cleary

Jana Cleary is an Audit Manager at Baker Tilly Channel Islands, having joined the firm in 2024 as a Senior Associate before progressing into her current role. 

As a Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Jana holds a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree from Stellenbosch University and completed her articles in South Africa, where she developed a strong technical foundation in audit and assurance. After relocating to Jersey, she continued to build on this experience, demonstrating strong performance and commitment, which led to her promotion within the firm. 

As part of the Assurance and Advisory team, Jana supports a diverse portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors, including private equity, real estate, pension funds, financial services, housing associations etc. She is known for her attention to detail, professional approach, and ability to work collaboratively with both clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes in line with regulatory and reporting standards. 

Her progression within Baker Tilly Channel Islands reflects the firm’s commitment to supporting career development and recognising talent as it grows. 

Outside of work, Jana is a keen runner and enjoys training with her husband and spending time with friends and family.
