Baker Tilly Channel Islands Welcomes Chika Nwankwonta as Associate Director
Baker Tilly Channel Islands is pleased to announce the appointment of Chika Nwankwonta as Associate Director within its Assurance and Advisory team, further strengthening the firm’s expertise across private capital structures and complex financial environments.
Chika joined the firm in 2026 and brings more than 14 years of experience in professional services, including senior leadership roles at Deloitte UK. Her experience spans audit and assurance across private capital structures, real estate, investment vehicles, and complex financial entities.
A Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chika holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nigeria and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014.
Chika is known for combining strong technical expertise with a practical, commercial mindset. She works closely with boards, CFOs and fund managers, providing clear, considered insight to support decision-making in complex environments. She has led and overseen large, technically demanding engagements, with a strong focus on key judgement areas such as valuations, financial instruments, and going concern.
