Baker Tilly Channel Islands was delighted to welcome professional golfer and Brand Ambassador Laurie Canter to Jersey for a two-day visit, bringing together colleagues, clients and contacts from across the Island.
Laurie began his visit at the Baker Tilly Channel Islands Jersey office on Thursday, where he spent time with colleagues and took part in a Q&A session.
During the session, Laurie shared insights from his career in professional golf, discussing leadership, ambition, performing under pressure and the mindset required to compete at the highest level of the sport. Colleagues also had the opportunity to put their own questions to Laurie and hear first-hand about his experiences on and off the course.
The visit continued on Friday with the Laurie Canter x Baker Tilly Channel Islands Golf Day at La Moye Golf Club.
Guests joined the Baker Tilly team and Laurie for a day of golf, followed by lunch and a Q&A session. Laurie shared further stories and insights from life on the professional golf circuit, giving guests an opportunity to hear more about the preparation, discipline and teamwork behind competing at an elite level.
