Director at Baker Tilly Channel Islands is named in ICAS Top 100 Young CAs list
ICAS (the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) has announced its list of the top 100 young chartered accountants (CAs) as part of a global event, and Sandy Cameron, Director at Baker Tilly Channel Islands, has been named in the list.
The Top 100 Young CAs list for 2020 recognises chartered accountants who excel in the areas of technology, trust and talent. The CAs selected in this year’s list all faced an anonymous and rigorous judging process focused on finding young professionals who are outstanding in their field. An overall winner – the One Young CA 2020 – will be chosen from the Top 100 list in October.
Sandy stood out to the ICAS Judges not just for his excellent Client work, but also for being proactive in supporting local charities and showing infectious enthusiasm to give something back.
Ewan Spraggon, Managing Director of Baker Tilly Channel Islands, commented “I am delighted that Sandy has been recognised in this list. It is a great achievement and demonstrates the ambition, ability and motivation that Sandy possesses. In the relatively short time that Sandy has been with us he has brought so much to the firm and I am excited to see where the future takes us”.
Sandy joined Baker Tilly Channel Islands in 2019. As a Director, Sandy works closely with the team in the Channel Islands to ensure the Assurance and Accountancy practices are running smoothly to meet and exceed clients’ needs. Sandy acts as project manager for a wide range of clients in the fiduciary, investment management and charity sectors, servicing clients in both Guernsey and Jersey as well as being a qualified valuation professional.
